Alaska Helicopter Tour with Glacier Landing

Take off and hover low over the frozen landscape as you make your way to the mighty Knik glacier. Fly over the lake filled with icebergs and land right on the glacier itself. Don your special non-slip glacier spikes and feel the sensation of standing on ice thousands of years old. Have your picture taken while peeking into a deep blue crevasse, see glacial meltpools and imagine the forces that created this powerful landscape. After 15 -20 minutes the tour takes off again and flies over Lake George where deep blue icebergs calf off the face of Colony Glacier. We usually see mountain goats and Dall Sheep and about half of the time we see moose or bears, so keep your eyes open! On the way back we fly through the Great Gorge of the Knik before safely touching down at Knik River Lodge.

Complete packages from Anchorage available

For adventurers that do not spend the night in one of our cabins we have complete packages including hotel transfers from Anchorage, Alaska and a meal in our award winning restaurant. When you return from your glacier adventure our chef will have a delicious lunch (for the morning tours) or dinner (for the afternoon tours) prepared for you. All our food is made from scratch using mostly organic, local ingredients. After your meal our shuttle takes you back to Anchorage where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

$299 per person. Included: 30 minute helicopter flight with glacier landing, use of special glacier gear, and approx. 15-20 minutes on the glacier

Morning departures: $385 per person. Included: roundtrip shuttle from downtown Anchorage, 30 minute helicopter flight with glacier landing, use of special glacier gear, approx. 15-20 minutes on the glacier , lunch at Knik River Lodge.

Afternoon departures: $419 per person. Included: roundtrip shuttle from downtown Anchorage, 30 minute helicopter flight with glacier landing, use of special glacier gear, approx. 15-20 minutes on the glacier, 3-course dinner at Knik River Lodge.
