Airboat or jet-boat to the Knik Glacier

See deep blue glacial icebergs,  walk on a terminal moraine and watch the new vegetation trying to get a foothold on the newly exposed land. Spend some time in this wild area and hear the ice crack and moan. If you’re lucky icebergs calve into the lake. Wildlife abounds with bald eagles nesting in the valley, moose browsing for fresh leaves and bears and Dall sheep high on the mountain sides. Your guide will tell you all about the unique Lake George and Knik River areas during the approximately 3.5 hour adventure that is sure to be a highlight of your Alaska experience! Hot drinks are served at glacier camp. This tour is also available by helicopter instead of airboat.

Complete packages from Anchorage

For adventurers that do not spend the night in one of our cabins we have complete packages including hotel transfers from Anchorage and a meal in our award winning restaurant. When you return from your glacier adventure our chef will have a delicious lunch (for the morning tours) or dinner (for the afternoon tours) prepared for you. All our food is made from scratch using mostly organic, local ingredients. After your meal our shuttle takes you back to Anchorage where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

$99 per person. Included: 50- 60 minute roundtrip airboat ride, about 2 hours leisure time at Knik glacier camp with incredible views of icebergs in the lake and the face of the Knik glacier just about 2 miles away.
