Glacier Country from the air

Climb aboard a real Alaskan bush plane and take off from Palmer airport to admire the meandering Knik River from above as you make your way to the mighty Knik glacier. Fly over Lake George and Colony Glacier. See Mount Markus Baker, the highest peak in the entire Chugach Range. On the way back to Palmer airport you’ll most likely see Dall sheep high on the mountain sides and often we see moose feeding in the ponds. Why not add 30 minutes and include the famous Prince William Sound? Lush freen forests line glaciers and deep blue fjords. You might even see a humpback whale form the air! Make sure you bring a camera: this is one of the most scenic flights you can do in Alaska.

Departure from Palmer Airport

This tour departs from Palmer Municipal Airport. Transfers to and from the airport are not included. You need a vehicle to get to the airport or contact us for a custom transfer.  These flights are operated by Grasshopper Aviation.
